projekt PRO4VIP - mapování potřeb slabozrakých občanů

Vážení přátelé,
Tímto sdělením se obrací SONS na všechny slabozraké abonenty této
konference, kteří umějí trochu anglicky nebo znají někoho, kdo by jim
s angličtinou pomohl.

Oč tedy jde: Evropská unie nevidomých, jejímž je SONS řádným členem,
a univerzita v italském Salernu realizují projekt PRO4VIP, který
mapuje potřeby slabozrakých občanů Evropské unie. Univerzita v Salernu
vypracovala dotazník, týkající se pomůcek a služeb pro slabozraké.
Účast slabozrakých Evropanů ze všech členských zemí EU na dotazníkové
akci je s vděčností vítána. Každý z Vás, kdo má zájem a chuť, nechť se
na dotazník podívá (viz odkaz níže) a pokud se mu otázky nebudou zdát
příliš vtíravé, nechť dotazník vyplní.

Dear members,

EBU is involved in the EU-funded PRO4VIP project. The objective of
the project is to improve the quality of life of functional low-vision
persons through demand-driven public procurement of innovative
assistive technologies or services.

The University of Salerno, Italy, is carrying out a survey to collect
the following information on partially sighted (PS) persons:
-      their needs in their daily life,
-      the kind of aids and precautions they use daily in order to
improve their quality of life,
-      their desired experience,
-      the desired assistive solutions to improve their quality of
life. 

A questionnaire in English is available on the website of the
University of Salerno, responsible for collecting the data, at
http://www.pro4vip.eu/quest/
A high response rate is crucial and we therefore ask your active
participation in this exercise. Please circulate it amongst your
regional/local branches and individual members. A Word version is also
attached and can be returned to Prof. Giuliana Vitiello, University of
Salerno, at gvitiello@unisa.it, although we strongly encourage you to
fill in the online form whenever possible so as to make response
processing much easier. 

This questionnaire is a unique opportunity to massively collect the
information aforementioned with no cost for EBU. Statistical results
derived from responses will:
-      help the PRO4VIP consortium build a technological platform,
where present and future needs may be adequately classified and the
instrument of Public Procurement profitably exploited to better
support the provision of innovative low-vision technology and services.
-      help EBU develop future meaningful activities and projects on
low vision.
This quantitative survey will be complemented with national focus
group discussions involving partially sighted panelists so as to
provide the project with qualitative input. Survey results will be
circulated in Mid-2016.
